About Me

I am a Health and Wellness Coach with a Ph.D. in Sociology and more than 20 years of experience in higher education. After mentoring and coaching students for many years, I wanted to expand my capacity to ask the right questions, so I enrolled in and completed Emory University's Health and Wellness Coaching Certificate program. In addition to my training, I have personal experiences with resilience through life transitions. In 2020, I saw the end of a long-term marriage. Also, that year, my siblings and I moved our mother into an assisted living facility after she suffered 5 strokes in one weekend. I know grief, loss, and change personally. I also know joy, freedom and resilience. I aim to help you tap into your inner wisdom as you brave life's transitions.
I call my coaching practice "your big life" because I know that sometimes when we are struggling, our lives get smaller and smaller. I have learned through both my life experiences and my training how to move from a small life to a big life. I have created for myself a strong core of resilience and a life that gets bigger and bigger every day, and I want to share that with you!
My goal is to help you find clarity and to create actions that move you towards the life of your dreams. I’m passionate about helping you to create meaningful and lasting transformation. Select "Book Online" to learn more about how I can help you make the changes you desire.
